On Sept.18, 2017, Moncton Council wisely chose to apply the precautionary principle
and NOT add hexafluorosilicic acid
to Greater Moncton's public water.
Contrary to claims by North American Dental & Public Health Associations, the majority of published scientific data shows no significant difference in tooth decay rates between fluoridated and non-fluoridated regions.
